Good Hope School is one of the traditional direct subsidy female schools in Hong Kong, belonging to the Band 1A category (secondary school), located in Sha Tin Road, Kowloon. The kindergarten, primary school and secondary school are all located in the same building, with English as the main teaching language and students consistently ranking at the top of their class. In the DSE results, the school performed exceptionally well in English, with 63% achieving level 5 or above in 2021. The school has outstanding academic achievements and a simple and honest school spirit that is hard to resist.

Good Hope School was founded in 1954 and has a Catholic background. It is a traditional direct subsidy female school where students excel in both academics and extracurricular activities. Good Hope Secondary School produced one 7-subject 5** top scorer each in 2013 and 2018, with the female top scorer in 2013, Hui Yan Kei, achieving 5** in the extended part of the mathematics course and becoming one of the two "super top scorers" that year.

The Good Hope Athletics Team is also a dominant force in school competitions. In the past, they have won the "Hong Kong and Kowloon Inter-School Athletics Competition" Group 1 overall championship 18 times.
