Diocesan Boys' School (DBS) is a leading full-time boys' school in Hong Kong and the third largest secondary school. The school was founded in 1869 and has both secondary and primary sections. It is one of the 22 subsidized schools under the Hong Kong Subsidized Schools Council and became a Direct Subsidy Scheme school in 2003, with its own admission system. The school occupies an area of about 50,000 square meters and is located on Kowloon's Argyle Hill in Mong Kok. It accommodates over 1,300 students and offers both the Hong Kong local high school DSE curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

DBS students have outstanding results in public exams, excelling in academics, sports, music, and other fields. The school's DSE results are among the top BAND1 schools in all 28 boys' schools in Hong Kong. It is one of the schools with the most "10A Scholars" and "7 subjects with level 5**" in the Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) and has produced four DSE scholars in 2015, 2018, and 2019. The school's IB results are excellent every year, with 17 full-score scholars unexpectedly produced in 2021, accounting for 27% of the 62 IB graduates and ranking second globally. In 2022, DBS had about 60 IB graduates, with five IB scholars produced, and the average score of IB candidates was as high as 42 points, the highest in history.

DBS's educational mission is to provide open and holistic education based on Christian principles: "The school's vision is to equip students with good knowledge, valuable qualities, diverse social and technical skills, and become contributors to society and honest leaders in a diverse and ever-changing world."

The principal stated: "The educational philosophy and goals of the secondary and primary sections are consistent, managed by the Board of Directors together, and the close relationship between the secondary and primary sections is very important. DBS is a prestigious and direct subsidy school with relatively more resources, and parents recognize our teaching achievements. On the other hand, there are not many English primary schools in Hong Kong, and our teaching language is English, with a good reputation for English. Except for Chinese, Mandarin, General Studies, Religious Education, and Moral Education, all subjects are taught in English."

As a direct subsidy school, DBS Primary School's curriculum design follows the framework of the Education Bureau. "To cater to boys' character, the curriculum has more information technology content and higher interest. Just listening to teachers' lectures is not enough." A French course is also offered, but students who study French still have to learn basic Chinese. In addition to core courses, the school invests over one million Hong Kong dollars each year and offers more than 60 elective courses divided into four categories: sports and arts, science, language and culture, and personal development. Students can take elective courses across grades, such as Japanese, French, rock climbing, handball, Chinese painting, astronomy, Olympic mathematics, Go chess, etc.

Currently, several DBS students are using IPISCHOOL for math learning with good results.

Wishing IPISchool students better results.
